Cathyann is a licensed counselor in Mars, PA, serving the southern Butler County and northern Allegheny County areas, offering individual, couples, and group services in the professional offices of Malec, Herring & Krause. The offices are in an old farmhouse and provide a very homelike and quiet setting which is both convenient and discrete.
Cathyann's background includes working in a community mental health setting with a broad range of life issues from grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, domestic violence, anger management, codependency, chronic pain and illness to dissociative disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and the full array of life transition issues. She has extensive training in body-centered therapies and mindfulness techniques, and brings a very holistic approach to the work with a sensitivity to and awareness of how your family/relationship patterns and life history affect you on both the physical and mental levels.

Cathyann is celebrating 10+ years as a massage therapist and having a broad range of training and experience in various settings – from a YMCA to in-home, in-office, and in my own studio. Offering services in the North Hills area of Pittsburgh as well as in Mars, PA, at the offices of Malec, Herring & Krause, a group practice of therapists and wellness practitioners.
Cathyann has spent many years training in various modalities, she can offer a general massage or more specific treatment for pain and injury concerns or specific health issues such as headaches, anxiety/stress, fibromyalgia, or chronic pain.
